1/2 way done (20 Weeks)

20 Weeks

Here I am 20 weeks with #3

I think I am bigger than I was with the other 2.
Here I am at 20w with Brianna:

and here I am at 20w with Noah:

Amazing difference.

Pregnancy: 20 Weeks along- 1/2 way done (Back on Tues 12/20)

Sleep: I am getting a little bit more. I just wish I could sleep in sometime- but my internal alarm clock and the other 2 kids get me up at 5:30 or 6.

Gender: It's a Girl.

We found out on Nov 29th when I was 17w along and had it reconfirmed at our anatomy scan (big u/s) on Dec 14th. I was in a minor car accident on 11/29, a lady in a VW bug was backing out of her parking spot and didn't look and ran into my car as I was leaving the office to go to lunch. I went to the ER that evening to be checked out because I had some bad neck arm pain and then about 5pm I started having some mild cramping. Because I was 17w pregnant - I felt it was best to be checked out. All checked out ok with me and the baby. While I was there they did an u/s to check on the baby and I told the u/s tech that if she was able to determine the sex of the baby- to please not tell me - but to write it on a piece of paper so I could open it with my husband. I also wanted to know just in case baby didn't cooperate at the big u/s on the 14th. She was able to tell and I took the sealed envelope home to Tim and we opened it together. The piece of paper said GIRL. I was so excited to find out a few weeks early.

We kept the information to our selves for about 3 more weeks. We had our u/s on the 14th and they also said that bay is a girl. We told our family at our extended family Christmas get together in Seattle at my Aunts house on the 18th. Every one was together except my older sister and her family who live in Utah. Before we started the gift exchange game I got everyones attention and asked Brianna a question.

Me: Brianna - what's in mommies tummy?
Brianna: baby sisser.
Me: Baby sister who?
Brianna: baby sisser Allison
Me: That's right - Baby sister Allison.

It was a fun way to tell the family we are expecting a girl.

Health: Doing and feeling good. Except when I over eat. I go from hungry to full real quick and sometimes I don't realize I am full until it's too late.

Total weight gain: a little - I broke the 200lb mark :( at my last appt. I think the scale was 200.3 or 4.

Movement: Every day. I have been feeling her since about 17w. Tim has felt her move and a few other people. She is very active.

Maternity Clothes: All the time.

Labor signs: None

Belly Button: Still an inny.

Next Appt: Jan 20th.

Health: Doing and feeling good. Nausea is mostly gone (knocking on wood) . I'm not sure how to handle this - I was sick for all 9mo with Bri and Noah, It feels weird to not be nauseous all day long.

Dating Ultrasound update

So we went and had my dating u/s yesterday and we were right - I am about 5 days further along than what the calendar says. My LMP (last menstrual period) was not the 'average' 28dys - more like only 23. So I ovulated sooner than day 14. Anyways- what that means is the baby, based on gestation, gives me a due date of 5/3.... instead of 5/8. However, because the change is less than a week from my original due date - the DR office is more than likely not going to change my due date. So May 8th is my due date for baby H 3.0 Other than that - all looked good. I will try to post this weekend the picture we got.

Your Three Words

Baby's First Photo

Ok- I know it's not Friday - but I had to post because I didn't get a chance to upload this last week.

I had my 1st OB appt last Thurs. All is good. I like my new OB. We also got to take a look at baby H 3.0. He/She was moving all over the place. Really looking forward to my ultrasound on Wed. Since my cycles are not the average 28d my Dr thinks I may be a little further along that what the calendar says. So she wants me to have a dating u/s on Wed to get a more accurate due date. So excited to see the little one again - not excited about drinking a ton of water before the u/s.

Hopefully more pics on Wed.

Bunkin

Brianna to English translation Bunkins = Pumpkins

Tim planted and grew some pumpkins in our garden this year.

We ended up with quite a few cute mini pimpkins

It is so cute to listen to Brianna call them Bunkins

There are Daddy bunkins and Mommy bunkins and baby bunkins.

Fall is here.

Here we go again.....

Baby H 3.0

We are expecting baby #3. We are so excited. It seems surreal at times, but very exciting. According to my calculations, we are due May 8, 2012. It's amazing how your body remembers what is about to happen. I couldn't hide my belly bloat anymore, so we told family and friends a few weeks ago. I think I look like I did when I was 14-16w with Noah, and I am only 10w along. The past few weeks have dragged on, but today I am 1/4 done!! yay me.

Pregnancy: 10 W(Due May 8th)

Sleep: Need more than what I can get. I come home from work, and want to go right to bed. I forgot how tired you are in the 1st trimester. I am generally in bed and practically asleep by 8:30 or 9pm every night.

Gender: ?? Hoping to find out in mid-late December

Health: Morning sickness had kicked in - and is at it's worst from about 12pm- 11pm daily. Mornings I feel pretty good. It's afternoons an evenings that aren't so much fun. I do have my nausea medication prescriptions that are making it so I can function and keep food down. I am not having food aversions I am having texture aversions. Baked potato = good, mashed potato = bad. crackers = bad. rootbeer = good. Very different than before when I could eat sweets all the time. One thing that is the same as before - I can't drink milk, once again it tastes sour to me. Stupid hormones.

Total weight gain: ?

Movement: Not yet

Maternity Clothes: Yup - Been in my maternity jeans for about 2w now. I still love them. Good thing I hadn't sold them just yet.

Labor signs: None

Belly Button: Still an inny.

Next Appt: 10/20, first OB check up.

Eagle Crest 2011

We took a family vacation and stayed a week at the Eagle Crest Resort in Redmond, OR. We had a great time. I loved spending time with Tim and the kids.

The kids were great on the 3+ hour drive over Mt. Hood and into central Oregon. Brianna slept most of the way. Here is a picture of Mt Hood:

Brianna and Noah all buckled in and ready to go:

There were so many fun things to do. Tim got to play a few rounds of golf. Tuesday we were able to see daddy on the 1st hole while I was taking the kids for a walk. Here he is putting:

Later he stopped by the condo and said hi. Our unit backed up to the 11th fairway

We all had a lot of fun at the pools.

Brianna couldn't get enough of the swings. She would ask to go 'weeeee'(translation = Swing) everyday once she saw the swings. Noah didn't like them at all. He sat in the swing for about 2min before we had to take him out. He had more fun walking around and finding sticks. Miss Brianna didn't want to get out of the swing. She loves them.

We took our bikes with us, and we rented a bike trailer so we could take the kids with us on bike rides. They loved it.

I enjoyed taking the kids for walks in the mornings. I would bundle them up and head out for a good 2-3 mile walk around the resort before breakfast. When the kids were up at 6:15 every morning - you've got time to go for an hour walk before breakfast. It was so nice to go for walks in the morning air. The clear skies were beautiful.

There were a few deer at the resort. They are apparently used to people because they don't move when you walk by them. Here is a picture of one we saw while on our walk. Just lounging in the morning sun.

On one of our last days there - we were up early and this is what we saw out off our back patio. A mommy deer and her baby and another mommy and her 2 babies back by the trees.

They came right up to the patio. It was amazing. The kids loved it.

We had a great week. Lots of fun and lots of memories.

Who needs expensive toys?

Not my kids.... they prefer:

Daddy's slippers:

Daddy's softball hat:

And an empty box:

Oh the fun that they have with just the simplest things.
