Day 10 - Best Bit of Your Weekend

Here was the best part of my weekend.  Going over to my mamas and sisters house for my nephews birthday, having waffles for dinner and watching the kids play with grandma.  They helped her water her garden, her rock garden.

Culture Parade

June 1st I was able to go and watch my niece Jessica in her 3rd grade culture parade at the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site.  The parade was all the 3rd grade classes in 2 of the school districts here in town. It was so much fun.  Brianna now wants to be in a parade and I told her when she gets bigger.  She says she is bigger.  LOL.

Here is Noah and I waiting for the parade to start:

My cute little man:

The fun culture parade:

Each student had a project board of some kind that they had made, that displayed their heritage/culture, and were wearing it in the parade. Each class was different and they were all so good.  It was alot of fun being able to watch my niece in her parade. 2 of  the local high school bands were also the beginning and the ending of the parade.  It was fun to be that close to the parade. Brianna and Noah had alot of fun and were very sad to go home when it was over.

Christmas 2011

Here is another post I started and never posted:

Christmas 2011:

We went to Seaside OR(the beach) and stayed in our timeshare and enjoyed a fun Christmas with the kids and their Grandma Kay.  Here is the tree we brought with us.  The kids had fun decorating it - it was just their size.

Santa Claus came and the kids had a lot of fun opening all their presents.

Road Trip to Utah~12w

Found this old post that I started but never posted..... this is from Sept 2010:

We got to enjoy some time out on the lake. Here is Bri and daddy:

Bri and Mommy on the tube about to be pulled by the boat. Bri did great - I was the one who got scared and wanted off real quick.

"Hold me mommy"

Tuckered out. She fell asleep on the way back to the dock.

We had a fantastic time ~ so glad my sister and her family live closer so we can visit.

We are so proud to welcome the newest, and final, addition into our family.  Allison was born on Wed 5/2/12 at 39w 1d via a scheduled c-section.  We had to schedule the c/s because she was breech. She is so sweet and her big sister and brother love her to pieces.  I will post more about the last few weeks of my pregnancy and her birth story when I get a few min to sit down and type it out.  It's on my list.

Photo A day - Instagram

A few months ago I upgraded my over 3 and half year old phone to an iPhone 4s.  I love it.  Along with it are iPhone apps.  One of my favorite is Instagram.  Instagram is an application that allows you to take a picture, choose a filter to transform its look and feel, then post to Instagram, or facebook to share your photos with friends and family, or the millions of internet friends that are out there.  Well - I've been sucked in and now follow others and love taking lots and lots of photos.  One of the people I follow does a Monthly photo challenge.  Here is the challenge for June:  Photo a day

I haven't blogged in over a month  and thought this would be a fun way to get me back in the blog groove.  Making myself post every day for the month of June..... along with all the other things I want to write down and blog about.

Enjoy!

35/35/35

I'm 35 yrs old / 35 weeks pregnant / and have 35 days until my due date.

Cuh-ray -zee. It's almost time to meet Allison.

Pregnancy:35w

Sleep: Getting pretty good sleep- until I wake up at about 4 or 5 to go pee.

Gender: Girl

Name: Allison Claire

Health: I'm doing ok. I had some really bad sciatic pain - it has eased up in the past week. I did have to take my Dr.s advice and go sit in a pool to take the weight off my lower back. It was boring sitting in a public pool by yourself (Tim at home with kids while they napped). I just rested up against the wall and people watched for over an hour. It did help with the pain though. Heart burn is still in full force- mainly at night. Few more weeks right? Other than that I really can't complain. I had on OB appt today and my BP is normal and all else is right on schedule.

- oh and I've gained 35 lbs up to this point and I hit a mark on the scale I never thought I would see. Already looking forward to going for walks this summer and working it all off.

Movement: All the time. Allison is a very active little girl. I can even feel when she gets the hiccups about 1-3x a day.

Labor signs: Braxton Hicks and the occasional contraction. I'll have about 2-10 a day. Nothing regular or timeable- but they are contractions. They feel like menstrual cramps... just like when I had contractions 2 other times.

Belly Button: I think it's almost, if not already there, an outie. :( The end is near......

Next Appointment: Monday April 16th- That's the beginning of my ever week appt until Allison arrives.

Brianna

My sweet 3yr old says some of the funniest things. I want to write it down before I forget. I know there is more... but here is what I have for right now:

up rope = Jump rope
Uh Oh ghetty bows = uh oh spaghetti o's
bunge bob pants = Sponge Bob square pants
Bawnuh = Brianna
Ban Ban =Bandaids
up cakes= pancakes
Brudher = Brother
Apptop = laptop
Mommy you cuddled me?= mommy will you cuddle with me

Bri: Knock Knock
Me: who's there?
Bri: Grandma
Me: Grandma who?
Bri: Knock knock
Me: Who's there? (giggle giggle)
Bri: House
Me: House who?
Bri: Knock knock
Me: Who's there?
Bri: Brudher (giggle giggle)
Me: Brother Who?
Bri: Knock knock....... You get the idea. It is so cute and she thinks it is so funny to play 'knock 'knock' while in the car going somewhere.

Here she is wearing pot holders on her feet. She grabbed them out of the drawer to play with them.

'Cheese'

She is so much fun.

23.5, 26, 27, and 28

I'm trying to catch up.... So here it goes:

23 1/2w

26w (with my little princess that had to pose with mommy)

27w

28w (And yes- I got my hair cut- It's not what I wanted - but it will grow, right?)

Pregnancy:28w

Sleep: Getting pretty good sleep- until I wake up at about 2 or 5 to go pee.

Gender: Girl

Name: Allison Claire

Health: Morning sickness is gone(knocking on wood). It's went away at about week 15. I do have wicked heartburn. I'm taking prescription Zantac 300mg 2x a day. It is my bestest friend right now. My hormones have really changed me with this pregnancy. With the first 2 I could not drink milk for the entire pregnancy. It tasted sour to me. And those that know me know how much I LOVE milk- know how much this sucked to not drink milk. Well - once my morning sickness went away - I decided to try a glass of milk one night with dinner - OMG... it tasted sooooo good. It didn't taste sour any more. I now have a glass every night with dinner. Crazy hormones.

Movement: All the time. Allison is a very active little girl. I can even feel when she gets the hiccups about 1-3x a day.

Labor signs: None- I do have the occasional Braxton Hick.

Belly Button: Still an inny - ok maybe a flattie. Brianna will lift up my shirt to 'say hi to baby sisser allison' and she will poke my belly button and tell me that" baby sisser allison is in my belly button". She also thinks my belly button is popping out - Not yet, but soon.

Next Appointment: Monday March 5th - Then after that they are every 2w until I am about 37w- then they will be every week. Crazy how fast this pregnancy has gone by.

Noah 18 Months

My little man is 18 mo old now. (ok he was back on 12/17) 1.5 yrs. Where has it gone? Here are his stats from his 18 mo checkup:
23.9 lbs (just 6lbs lighter than his big sister)
33" tall

He is a healthy growing boy. He did have to have 2 shots... I hate that part. That's one of the not fun parts of being a mommy.

He was great through the whole appt. Listened to the Dr and passed all evaluations with flying colors. Next well-baby visit at 2 yrs old. 2 yrs old ? ... Not ready for that yet.

*He is such a fun little boy. He has the most contagious laugh.... And he laughs all the time.... And keeps laughing and laughing. You can't help but smile and laugh with him.
*He is a very tough little boy. He will bonk his head or fall down and then laugh or look at you, get up, and move on to the next thing as if nothing happened ... Or do it again if he thinks it's funny. We say "man down" a lot. LOL.
*He talks up a storm, and you can understand him. He is putting 2 words together now.
Noah: "daddy mote"= I gave Daddy the remote.
Mommy: "Did you give daddy the remote?"
Noah: "uh-huh" shaking his head yes.
You have to acknowledge what he says by saying it back or he will repeat it over and over until you do acknowledge him.
*He still loves the movie Cars and now both kids love to watch The Incredibles. He knows which remote turns on which movie. Cars is on the DVR, so he knows it's the satelite remote. He also knows Incredibles is on the play station so it's the play station remote that turns that one on. He will grab the remote and bring it to you and repeat the name of the movie over and over until you answer his question. Cars? Cars? Cars? If you say "no, not now" he will get fussy and tell you "noooo. Cars!". Minor tantrum occurs.... And then we distract with something else and all is good.
*He loves his big sister... And her toys and sippy cup. They play with each other and wrestle around with each other and have a fun time. If he sees her sippy and his sippy... He will grab hers to drink from before taking his. He has fun playing with her toys especially her new "iPad" - it's actually a leapPad but they both call it her iPad. It's cute. He knows he shouldn't be playing with it but if it's with in reach he will grab it.
*He can reach onto the counters and will grab anything within reach, so we have to be very careful of what is left on the counters. After dinner Brianna will take her plate or bowl over to the sink, sometimes it only makes it to the counter. If we hear silence we know Noah has grabbed it off the counter, is sitting on the floor and finishing off what Bri left.
*He is always eating if we let him. He eats a good breakfast and lunch and if mommy or daddy go to make our lunch he is right in front of you "bite? Bite? Bite" until you give him a bite. He is a growing boy.
*He can climb up onto our bed and get off all by himself. I think he has only fallen off 1x. If we leave our door open we can count on finding him on our bed holding the remote trying to turn on the tv. And he is very proud of himself too.
*He sleeps through the night. Bed time is 8pm ish. He generally sleeps until 6 or 7am. Every day varies. Yesterday I had to wake him up at 6:45 to get ready for daycare, today He was awake and standing in his crib at 6:10 saying "Mommy. Mommy. Mommy." If daddy is lucky he might, key word might, sleep in till 7.

He is such a great little man. We are so blessed the he is our little man. Love you dude. Can't wait to see what the next 6 mo will bring.
